What a fantastic day! Here are some photos and feedback from the day.
On Saturday 21st October, Atlantic Village hosted its first ever Choc Fest – a day dedicated to the delicious world of Chocolate.
The event welcomed over 8500 people – one of the highest footfalls the centre has seen at an event since the centre’s grand opening in 2000!
There was an abundance of chocolate in all shapes and sizes, including brownies, flapjacks, fudge, ice cream, lollies – even pizzas!
Split Screen Bar were serving up delicious Chocolate inspired cocktails, prosecco – even chocolate ale!
As well as treats for the adults, Truly Scrumptious were offering Chocolate Lolly Decorating which proved to be extremely popular!
Cornish Bakery were dishing out samples of their delicious new menu items including Salted Caramel Brownie and Chocolate Fudge Cake.
Willy Wonka and Nicola Cann (Marketing Co-Ordinator) were giving out Golden Tickets, as well as chocolates, sweets and balloons for the children.
On the day we ran a prize draw for a local charity called FIG. All the prizes were donated from the stores and stallholders. 3rd Prize was a Cadbury Retro Selection Box, 2nd Prize was a Chocolate Themed Hamper and 1st Prize was a Luxury Chocolate & Prosecco Hamper! Pictured is Wendy Mounce being presented 1st Prize by Jean Sharples, Centre Manager.
Here at Atlantic Village we are proud to support local charities. As a result of our charity prize draw and donations on the day, we raised a fantastic £250.88 for FIG!
Did you get a selfie with Willy Wonka? We saw some fantastic photos uploaded on social media, and 3 lucky people won a Cadbury Goody Bag! Here’s one of our winners Jack with Willy Wonka.
